The South Carolina softball team hosted their inaugural Swinging to Support Gamecocks golf outing at The Spur at Northwoods Golf Club, supported by various sponsors. Cindy Chiellini, a proud member of the team’s parent community, attended to support her daughter and the team.

The event featured sponsorships benefiting the softball program, offering golfers a package deal at $600 for a foursome. Golfers enjoyed a day filled with practice range access, a full 18 holes of play, cart rental, gifts, and a satisfying lunch. Prizes like a $10,000 hole-in-one cash reward, a TaylorMade Stealth Driver, and an Apple iPad added excitement to the day. The golfing kicked off at 11 a.m., followed by a silent auction of unique items.

All funds generated were dedicated to supporting the University of South Carolina’s softball program, including Volunteer Assistant Coach Kevin Maguire’s salary and enhancing program facilities.
